We are Kansas City Irish Dance Company, bringing innovative choreography and Kansas City pride to events across the city. Combining classical Irish Dancing with contemporary fusion, it is truly our joy to keep Irish American Heritage alive through the artistry of dance.
Our Story
Our company began in 2012 as Ceili at the Crossroads, founded by Kiernan Walshire, Kiera O'Boyle, Lauren Whitaker and Catherine Mowbray. As we celebrated our 10th anniversary, we rebranded as the Kansas City Irish Dance Company in 2022.
Our company is composed of championship-level dancers, the product of several Kansas City Irish dance schools, joining together to perform at community events such as KC Irish Fest, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and private events. Expression and choreography highlight our culture as we strive to connect with the audiences with our whole hearts.
We are honored to be artists-in-residence at the Kansas City Irish Center.
